This is the inaugural number of Indologica-Jaipurensia, the research journal of HISTORICAL RESEARCH DOCUMENTATION PROGRAMME. It is devoted to such aspects of Indian History as Archaeology, Fine Arts, Religion, Language and Literature with emphasis on Rajasthan. This number is dedicated to Dr Mulk Raj Anand who, beginning with his book The Hindu View of Art (1933) has devoted more than half a century to Art History and has done 134 numbers of the MARG on Indian arts and crafts.
