Research Journal

We had also started to publish our bi-lingual Research-Journal :
Indologica Jaipurensia which has now been renamed and retitled:
‘Indologica Brajensia’ concentrating on history, archaeology,
culture, literature, art and architecture of the Braja (Jamuna-Chambal)
region. We lay stress on People’s Culture in its evolutionary
process, and our objective, again, is to document basic material
of historical research. Besides articles by renowned scholars in
their respective specialized field, it has such permanent columns
as Sopana (indices to reputed journals on art-history and
archaeology); Vimarsa (thoughts on controversial aspects of Indian
History); Citra-Vicitra (on theory of Indian Painting and
Sculpture); Sumeru (on texts of Indian Architecture);
Katba-va-Tawarikh (on Persian Epigraphy);
Research-and-Documentation; and Samiksa (Reviews of Classical
works, mainly on art-history, published in India and abroad).

A special feature of our research-journal is that its each volume
is dedicated to a renowned art historian, historian or
archaeologist, each with a critique of his contribution, a
bibliography of his woks, his specimen article/articles and his
life-sketch. Thus do we aspire to contribute our little bit to the
Indian Art History repertoire.
